Difference of links between input files/text

You can differentiate between two input files containing backlinks to your site on each line. It can also be in the format "domain:example.com" as explained in Disavow formats. You can either upload a text file or paste it's contents. Each URL should be on separate line. It can contain blank lines.

This comparison will give you clear picture of difference in links.

Secondly it will generate 3 output files:

  1. The lines of file1 not in file2
  2. The lines of file2 not in file1
  3. Lines common to both

Please see URL's are case sensitive and are automatically sorted.

If file2 contains a line "domain:example.com" then it is assumed that file2 contains all links from example.com domain. So if file1 contains "http://example.com/page1.htm" then it is assumed to be also present in file2.

There is another compression takes place in each file: if in file1 or file2 both lines like these are present:

domain:example.com

http://example.com/page1.htm

Then the second line is automatically removed before calculating the difference further as it is redundant.
